How to Brew a Pot of Coffee

Reflection

     For this assignment, I had to create instruction using video. While I used the content from the previous weeks assignments to guide the instruction, I had some technical challenges in filming the video. I filmed the video using my cell phone while I was performing the steps of brewing the pot of coffee and then edited the audio and video together and added some titles. This was far from an ideal situation for shooting video, but I made do with the resources I had available. I had no previous experience in filming and editing video, and this assignment was a great deal more challenging than the other asssignments I completed for this class. Another issue was that it took an incredibly long time to get the video from my phone uploaded to the Internet into a program where I could edit it. There was probably a more efficient way to do it than how I did it, but in general it just seems like working with video is much more time consuming that using other types of media. Anyway, I learned a lot in completing this project and have a greater appreciation of what all it takes to create a high quality video to be used in an instructional setting.
